I made some progress this week with the 5" blue squares I was cutting -- they've become blocks, and a top is coming along.
The quilt is not looking nearly as blue as I'd expected, but I'm heading in the right direction for my color inspiration photo. I'll still think about borders, but so far, so good. This will eventually become a donation quilt.

Beautiful inspiration photo! It's always a surprise (to me) how the colors play out in the resulting quilt. Either way, that's going to make a lovely donation quilt!
