Lammas

Lammas Greetings!

It's time for my annual 'harvest' meditation. What am I 'harvesting' this year?

My birthday comes up in a few days, so this traditional agricultural holiday is a timely opportunity for me to reflect on how my life has grown in the past year and to select some seeds of change I'd like to sow for the coming one.  I've had better years -- not a very good harvest this time I'm afraid.  I used to feel like I was more successful at life, but I seem to be running out of energy.  Perhaps I can be more spiritually productive next year.  Perhaps the world at large will improve.  But ... probably not.  Sigh ...
