Scavenger Hunt

This week's UFO completion is Scavenger Hunt.

This was a sew-along from Temecula Quilt Company that began in January -- I lost my place when we went down to visit for Lorenzo's birthday in February.  The color palette wasn't intentional, just made up as I went along, and it ended up feeling 'autumn-y' to me.  It brings to mind the U-Pick sunflower/pumpkin farm we visited when we were in Boston last September.  Looks to be crazy-crooked in this photo, but it really isn't, just being held off-kilter.  I'll need to get a better photo one of these days.  Anyway, another one gets checked off the UFO list.

Scavenger Hunt

Week #3 of Temecula Quilt Company's

We did approximately a zillion teeny HSTs this time.  Whew.

This long skinny row is actually a vertical column -- this is the established length of the quilt, not the width.  Scrappy is always fun.

Week #2 of Temecula Quilt Company's

Small pieces, as is usual for Temecula Quilt Company.
So far, so good!

Scavenger Hunt

Another interesting sew-along begins today!

Temecula Quilt Company's

This mystery series will run for eight weeks, with clues coming out on Mondays.  The final quilt will be about 39" x 49" and will feature scrappy pieced blocks from Returning to Temecula.  I always enjoy Sheryl's projects, and I'm off and running on this latest one!
