Kindred Souls

I recently ran across a free pattern offered by Art Gallery Fabrics.  I always enjoy a piecing challenge, and this one fits the bill.  The fabrics used in the pattern are from a Valentine collection, but I'm going to nudge my version away from pinks toward Christmas colors.  

The pattern requires 17 different fabrics in 35 different combinations of half square triangles, so it will be crucial to keep everything labelled and in order -- color placement is the key to the medallion. Plenty of cutting to get started with!

Art Gallery has some gorgeous fabrics and patterns -- I'm inspired!
