Long Time Gone - #14

60* Triangles

I decided this morning to forge ahead to the finish on this, so this is the second time this week I've worked on it.  Another large section assembled!  Now all that remains are a number of small log blocks and a few more checkerboard fillers.  I'm hoping to have enough time to get it all done this weekend :)

Long Time Gone - week 13

We're inching nearer and near to the end,

week 13 already!

Several segments of flying geese were on the agenda this time.  I am making my quilt slightly smaller than the original, so one of my segments is only half size. 

 I was able to assemble another large section.  I'm beginning to see how this will gather itself together, and I like what I'm seeing :)

Crosses of the UK

These are turning out to be surprisingly small blocks -- I guess I didn't think about the finished size and how everything would fit when I decided to work on this quilt.  But anyway: so far, so good. 

My 'background' is beet red, although sometimes I'm subbing in other red/plum fabrics for background.  (And truth be told, it's been a tossup as to what is 'background' and what is 'feature' in the pattern booklet)
