Domino
I finished this simple black and white top, undertaken because the black fabric tub kept spilling out onto the floor. It will eventually become a donation quilt.
My UFO/tops tally is now 6. I'm beginning to think very carefully about whether I should create any more new quilts.

Sunday
Done! I've conquered this set of very old UFO blocks.
I added the light sashing and decided that since it's a donation quilt and is already so large, I would just finish it off with the float border and call it a day. It's now aging on the To-Be-Quilted pile.
I think I have six tops and three block sets remaining in the UFO drawer.

Home Treasure
Taa-daa! I finished the Home Treasure top!
I'm happy with the sashing extending out to the border -- it seems to have effectively completed the thought. This quilt will eventually have multicolored binding, but for now it will relax in the finishing basket.

Pumpkin Patch!
Another completion -- I'm on a roll here this week!
I started this fun Halloween quilt back in June, and Lucci has had his eye on it all summer. Ready in time for the Halloween decorating season!

Friday
Keeping myself in the game with a nice easy scrappy finish! Courthouse Steps, a variation of log cabin piecing. This will hang over the back of the rocker during October.
I'm feeling so much more engaged and productive now that the weather has cooled.

Thursday
I cleared off the table in the studio -- leftovers from last month's Old School chalkboard quilt -- and ended up with a couple of little mats. I'm not saving scraps anymore.
Truth be told, it's not likely that I'll be making many more quilts. I feel depleted. Lack of time, lack of energy, lack of motivation are all factors. And that certainly makes it difficult to continue writing a quiltmaking blog, doesn't it?

Old School
I just finished this fun quilt, all ready for use later next month. I used applique, embroidery and textile paint for this retro chalkboard creation.
In 1958 I was in first grade. Not doing cursive yet at that time, but all these fabric elements were too good to pass up. I have fond memories of elementary school and enjoy "Back to School" season.

Cellophane Flowers
A completion!
Cellophane Flowers is finally quilted, bound, washed, and ready to brighten our summer decor :)
It took me a while to get it done -- I'm working slowly these days. Now I'll get back to Celestial Dream applique.

A completion
I finally finished hand quilting and binding Niche.
This is my version of the Bramble Blooms challenge project organized by Audrey at QuiltyFolk.
Completions are few and far between here anymore.

Wheel of Fortune
I'm happy to report a quilt completion -- they are rare here these days!
I finished up my Wheel of Fortune project and I'm pleased with how it turned out. Even though it's scrappy -- quite a few fabrics there! -- I feel like everything came together nicely and I have a good cohesive result. I'll spend the next couple of evenings stitching the binding to the back, and then return to hand quilting my Bramble Blooms quilt.

Sunday
Another "just get that binding done" completion from the green tub. This plain little utility quilt was created as a replacement for a quilt that was lost when we moved a few years ago. It's been waiting.

Moss
Assembled an old set of green 9ps that emerged from the stash tub. I used to make small mats like this for the dog bed ... but alas, no more dogs here. Sigh.
