A special party!

Our annual Solstice/Blue party!

(Because everything isn't busy enough already this week.)

We've been enjoying Blue Parties 

since Nick and Dave were little boys,  more than 40 years now :)

Recommended attire: everything BLUE

The crew is busy with decorating, which gets superimposed right over the Christmas stuff.

When you're just three years old everything is amazing!

To the kitchen ... as usual lots of help from the sous chefs!

Next let's build a cozy fort by the fireplace.

Mama and Papa are on their way from work, time to light the lights

Block Party

Yesterday's block party was a wonderful success!  At our house, we had a popcorn stand, a bounce house, ice cream floats, and a zillion sparklers.  A lovely day visiting with neighbors and creating amazing childhood memories!!!
