RSC23: January - blue

RSC23: January - blue

I made some progress this week with the 5" blue squares I was cutting -- they've become blocks, and a top is coming along.

The quilt is not looking nearly as blue as I'd expected, but I'm heading in the right direction for my color inspiration photo.  I'll still think about borders, but so far, so good.  This will eventually become a donation quilt.

I love the colours you're using! Definitely can see the influence of the pansies.

I really like your color combo! Those are the colors of my college alma mater.

That is a beautiful inspiration photo for your quilt idea! I really like how the design turned out, too - a pretty balance of blue, green, and yellow!

Beautiful inspiration photo! It's always a surprise (to me) how the colors play out in the resulting quilt. Either way, that's going to make a lovely donation quilt!
