February NewFo continued ...

I've been happily working on my Woodland Clover NewFo2013 project this week.  I'd considered making it larger than originally planned, but when I got down to details, I found that the amount of fabric I had available for borders wasn't enough for a bigger quilt.  So here's where I ended up, and I'm well-satisfied with my results:

I'll work on layering and quilting this coming week.  I used Pat Speth's instructions for this project, and all her arithmetic was just right.  I like her style, and hope to do more of her scrappy projects in the future.

It's beautiful, Jeanne---a perfect March quilt. I pulled that book out but I do so much more dreaming than sewing... *sighs*

Your quilt has great movement and your color choices are perfect for very early spring. I haven't seen Pat Speth's book(s) - will need to check them out, looks like my kind of projects.

My hubby was amazed when I told him I knew a blogger in Big Bear near the manhunt! and I said just what you did "miles from civilization" To me, the perfect place for a quilter to spend her days! Stay safe and warm!

I like it! With your colors the border seems to pop more - more swirly! I really appreciate a well written quilt pattern where everything works. Great job. Cheers! Evelyn

Jeanne, I just want you to know that you are in my thoughts as the tragic news story works itself out in your area.
