The outdoor home improvement project finally is done!!! Paint, garage doors, lattice are all complete, and I love the way it all came together. The landscaping will be a work-in-progress all summer. We're going to put in a low hedge in front of the porch, and the wildflower beds will need ongoing work to get established. We've been here for exactly a year now -- wow, the time has flown by! -- and it feels like OUR house now.

Wow, your house looks so beautiful, love the color and when you get all your gardens in it will be even more gorgeous! I will have to look for you if I ever make it up the hill to Big Bear, we keep threatening to go up there but we never get around to it.

Very striking and happy color. It stands out in every season and will look terrific in the snow! Maybe kids will call it a Santa House then, with the red and white :) Glad it is all finished and beautiful with the new paint and polish.

Beautiful home, well worth the wait and loved the posts of progress. Reminds me of Sweden where all the country homes were red with white trim.
OH MY GOSH, it is GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!! I thought it might be toooo red, but I absolutely LOVE it!!!!Looks great already with the flowers and the flag!!
