Tuesday

Nothing much to report -- things are quiet and ordinary here.

I did complete another donation quilt -- just a quickie but it totally cleaned out the pastel pink scraps! Both this new pink one and the bright one from last week are done and bound and ready to turn in at the upcoming guild meeting.

Meanwhile, I continue to plug away at my B-a-D project. I feel like I'm not accomplishing much, but I have more than 100 blocks done now from the calendar, so I guess that's something.

**********
Somebody got a new toy this week. This fancy mitre saw should help get the baseboard and trim project moving along ...

Your quilts are going to be loved by whoever receives them. Your new guild is lucky to have you as a member. I enjoy seeing the quilts you are making with your calendar blocks - keep up the great work and thanks for the inspiration.

The quilts are great! I feel accomplished that I'm still sticking to the block-a-days (didn't really know if I'd stay with it...of course, the year is still young.
Don't you just love husbands and their new toys! Paul got some kind of cordless drill/saw thingy last week; he was so excited like a little kid, showing me all the bells an whistles and I'm clueless going "oh yeah, cool honey..wooo".

Block a Day project - blocks made up always look so much more appealing than even color photos in books. I started making a LOT of them from that calendar, and before long I had decided I needed to make 365 QUILTS! I had to stop! LOL

Lovely quick quilts--the recipients will be very lucky.

Can that workman and his fancy saw come here next? I have a lot of trim work that needs to be done too :)
