Sunday

GRATITUDES

1. Taffy apples from the North Pole Fudge Shop, a favorite autumn treat
2. Two successful excursions: took my mom to the show to see Julie and Julia -- a lovely movie which we both enjoyed; and took my dad out for pasta fagiole and breadsticks on the terrace at Paoli's , and we both enjoyed that, too!
3. Sitting on the back porch watching the robins flutter and chirp and roost for the night in the poplars

(Sorry for being so melancholy the other day ... I'm totally switched back over to the Happy Channel again!)

The joy of being able to do something easy with either parent without a long journey either end is already sinking in nicely :o)

Yummy sounding shop!

My mom, DD#2 and I saw Julie and Julia yesterday and loved it. Meryl Streep got her voice and phrasing perfect==she WAS Julia!

No need to apologize for having feelings, happy or sad, we'll share your day.

Welcome bad to happy - sometimes we just take a little dip in the sad pool - it is good when we come out refreshed.

I am so glad that things are finally settling down for you. I know all about the driving long distances to do care giving. My 93 year old Auntie is about 2 hours away and I go there almost weekly.
