Small town Saturday afternoon

Both Nick and Dave played football during their school years, and Tony and I were very active in the Booster Club ... many many hours spent working in the snack stand, doing team spirit and fund-raising events, etc ... and we enjoyed it all.

It's been more than ten years since then, and when we saw that our new local team, the Bears, were playing their Homecoming game this afternoon, we picked up my Dad and went to the game -- he had a great time, too.

Unfortunately our team lost, but it was a lovely autumn afternoon, and it brought back pleasant memories of family times gone by.
