I'm working along on my Queen of Hearts project. Half square triangles trimmed and pressed, and blocks are starting to happen. This is such a welcome change of pace from the intense concentration needed for Starowka -- almost instant gratification! This is my own design, not a particular pattern, just making best use of cutting the fat quarters.
The block is a variation of Texas Puzzle -- different proportions but close enough. I made a similar queen-size quilt using this plan way back in 2007. Whew, lots of quilts under my belt aren't there?

I like the plaids throughout - it's going to be a really pretty quilt.
Just lovely Queen of Hearts project!! Those plaids are so vintage and comforting looking...
Gosh, don't we all have a ton of quilts we've made??? Sometimes I even forget a few and wonder why patterns seem so familiar....;)))
Glad you've happened on a fun project to take your mind off this coming Monday--mine is the "Dark Days" piece--improv so makes me have to think...;))) hugs, Julierose
