Friday

Back at it with my red and blue fabrics -- I got the jumble from the other day folded and sorted so I could make better decisions about choosing a project.

The darker blues seemed more interesting to me today, so I settled on a block to work with and did some color pairings.

I got a test block cut and laid out -- the dark blues and reds will be different for each block, and the light background and light blue points will be constants.  This looks good to me, so all systems go for quilt #1.

Light sashing to come.

********
And if I keep my momentum going, I'll use the lighter blue fabrics in a second quilt, details to be worked out later.

Great block choice to showcase these lovely fabrics; I like the idea of keeping constants too...this should be a lovely piece..hugs, Julierose

That looks like a fun block. I love red, white, and blue so your can't go wrong with the fabrics you've picked out. The first block looks great.
