I had some piecing time today and settled onto classic simple shoofly blocks for this very eclectic array of fabrics. Not a good photo -- just a quick shot at the end of the afternoon to get a feel for my color palette. Things are looking boho to me -- now that I see this pic I'm getting a *Jen Kingwell * vibe, and that's a good inspiration. Onward!

I always love the scrappy quilts because they remind me so much of the ones my grandmothers made. I wonder if quilters are going to be heading back to making quilts using recycled fabrics instead of paying the huge prices for new fabrics these days.
