RSC23: February - pink
I got to 'flimsy' stage with my pink log cabin blocks. I ended up with a sweet classic little nap-size quilt, destined to be a donation quilt eventually. This is the finale of February/pink RSC for me, not as much to show for the month as I'd hoped. My heart's kind of not into it anymore.
So when I calculate scraps into yardage and add allocations for a back and binding, this project only consumed about 4 yards of fabric -- not nearly enough to make a difference with my goal of stash reduction. Even though I no longer purchase quantities of fabric like I did in the past, I have a huge collection, and at this rate of consumption it will continue to be an enormous amount for many years. Sigh.

Looks like the challenge color for March is going to be green ...

what pretty log cabin blocks! The quilt is like strawberry-vanilla swirl ice cream!
Sometimes we want to get so much done, then life happens . So not to worry, projects come along and are like hungry caterpillars and just consume so much fabrics we cannot believe just how much they do. Love the pink log cabin quilt, it is awesome!
Pretty pink log cabin quilt top, Jeanne! My motto is just keep sewing - every quilt uses up something!
Lovely log cabin!
Sweet, sweet quilt. My great-grandmother used to say, " 'Every little bit helps,' said the old lady as she pissed into the sea." Keep on sewing, no matter how little or how much! It's still stash reduction.
Pretty log cabin quilt. Small or big, stash reduction for sure. Keep sewing!
A very pretty and soft looking LC blocks quilt. Every bit you use and move out is progress!
Someone is going to love this! I'm afraid it wouldn't be me because I've never been a fan of pink. Love the design though!
