They are currently requesting quilts for an event taking place this winter in conjunction with their partner, the Forgotten People Organization/Navajo Nation. I made this quilt back in January for Rainbow Scrap Challenge, and now it's found a destination.
We had occasion to drive through the northern Arizona/New Mexico part of the country several times in the past year. While it is an area of vastly beautiful southwest landscapes, life in this part of the country seemed to be rather bleak and not very hope-filled. Maybe my quilt will
