I like the arrival of October in Big Bear. Almost overnight the forest seems to be glowing from the golden serviceberry bushes.

I like seeing Lorenzo and Lucci! We enjoyed our annual visit to the Pumpkin Patch over the weekend.
We were finally able to deliver Lucci's new/old desk, so now they both have one from us :)

I like our local wildlife. We have a herd of wild burros out in the eastern end of the valley -- they're silly and quite tame and fun to watch!
