I like seeing wild turkeys stroll across
the road here in Nick's neighborhood!
Puts me in mind to think about doing
a Turkey Tracks quilt one of these days :)

I like hiding in the sunflowers at the U-Pick farm!

I like my Crocs! They provide just-right comfort for my old feet, even when my leg is swollen, and they come in lots of colors!! Good thing I'm long past elegant (haha) and at the functional/comfortable stage of my life.

Those turkeys are so funny--I saw a whole bunch of them sleeping on a front lawn!! Never have seen that before...thanks for the smile...hugs, Julierose
Isn't it nice to be past the "elegant" stage of life? In my quest to be more "comfortable" I gave up pedicures this summer, and somehow the world has survived!
Comfort is key, in my opinion. You like your crocs, I like my sneakers -- we were thinking the same on our posts today! Nice photo amidst the sunflowers!
amen to comfort... why I can barely remember teetering around on Candies Mules at the disco! Now it's birks and sneakers, and happily barefoot in the house. LOVE sunflowers, and a field of them taller than you is awesome! thank you so much for joining our merry little group!

Love the wild turkeys. Funny we were driving through a very busy neighborhood in Cape Cod and there were a bunch of them including some babies. I agree on comfortable over style anymore, but I do miss my high heels sometimes.
I always love seeing wild turkeys, too - how fun to have them right in the neighborhood! Love my crocs, too - sometimes they are just what your feet need, aren't they?
Hi Jeanne! That is so cool seeing the wild turkeys crossing the road. I wonder if they hide near Thanksgiving? Those sunflower fields are so pretty and SO tall! Very cool. ~smile~ Roseanne
Sunflowers! so pretty. Turkey Tracks looks like a cool quilt!
