Our RSC color for February is YELLOW. Hopefully yellow patchwork will add some warmth and sunshine to the dreary days of winter.
I located some yellow scraps and chunks that I will concentrate on this month.
To start things off, this week I sewed up my next two Burgoyne Surrounded blocks. Even though they have lots of pieces, everything is square corners, so these are actually quite easy to sew.
When I spread them out with last month's RED blocks, I noticed that I will need to be saving strips of my backgrounds to use as sashing later -- these are laid out together, but they're supposed to have one more plain strip and cornerstone between them .

OH how pretty!!! Love your yellows!!
Sunshiny yellow is always welcome in February! Your Burgoyne blocks look very happy in yellow!
Those sure are pretty blocks!
I keep eyeing this pattern for the RSC. Have fun with it!!
Your Burgoynes are looking great! When I started making mine, I forgot about the 9-patch cornerstones, so I have been working backwards and making those as I go along, too.
This quilt looks so beautiful with all those scrappy colors. I don't think I have seen this quilt as scrappy as this - usually the colors are much more limited.
