En Provence

It's starting to come together!

When last I shared my En Provence progress, we were on Clue #5.  In the meantime, the mystery was revealed.  I haven't had a long afternoon of concentration available to spend on it during this past week, but today I was able to figure out where I'd left off, and try a block layout.

Talk about a mental challenge!  I must say, this is a very complicated block, with many intersections to be matched!  The aqua parts are actually the sashing strips, but the pink stars overlap into the sashing, so everything has to be organized and ready to go.  (And turned the right way, just sayin')

I did need to make additional pieces of some of the sub-units, because I had been aiming for "smaller than" the original and my rounding off wasn't enough to finish all the blocks.  I am quite happy with my color palette and placement -- my vision of April tulip fields is working out as I'd hoped.  I still have about a zillion parts to assemble, but it's going to be a nice quilt eventually!

This pattern would tax my little spatially dyslexic brain into convulsions I'm afraid! I do love your bright tulip colors and your quilt will be spectacular when it's finished.

Beautiful colors! I, too, am challenged by the layout. I needed blocks of time to work on it, so I didn't get out of rhythm.

I agree, the layout is a challenge. It will be a miracle if I don't have a mistake at the end. LOL

Love your Colors.
In the right Corner you have to turn one block I think.
