En Provence Step 2

Moving right along with

Again I made 2/3 of the called-for number of units, because I'm planning on a smaller quilt.  These triangle sections were made using a Tri-Recs ruler set I already had, although Bonnie offers several options for cutting and piecing.  The instructions use magenta as the constant fabric color, but I'm going my own way here with aqua.

Your icicle squares match the view through the window! Good for you choosing your own colours, I've decided to stick with Bonnie's choice this year, but in the past I went my own way too; turned out great!

Marly's right - those triangles do look like icicles!
I changed up the colors a bit, too, this year. Can't wait to see how this turns out!

I'm loving your blue! I am being dull and using Bonnie's colors this year. In the past I've substituted, as you are doing, and was always happy with the result. Can't wait to see yours!

I also love your colors. Did you change most of the colors or just the constant?

Love your choice of aqua. It's so fun to see all the different colorways used in these mysteries.

Your blocks look great! I'm currently waffling in cutting for step 3 because I'm not sure which of my substitute colours to pick!
