We were on an extended trip for all of September, so I was only able to do handwork all month. Here's what I accomplished in the car:
Hand pieced postage stamp mat, autumn colors
Hand pieced a set of 18 Dresden Plates done in vintage fabrics. I received these as a bag full of already-cut blades, with a cardboard template labeled "Ruth".
Partially hand-quilted log cabin runner, to be completed in the next few days.
Appliqued the first four of a total of fourteen "Wintergreen" blocks.
We're having house guests this coming week, and then after that I can finally get back to my
sewing machine!!

Great Road Trip accomplishments! Love the vintage fabrics in the Dresdens and the acorn blocks from Wintergreen are adorable!
