I love, love, love your snowflake quilt! I haven't yet been brave enough to use black but this quilt encourages me to give it more consideration.
I've recently finished hand-quilting a quilt that was set on the diagonal. It was the first time and I found it a bit of a challenge to prevent the quilt moving even when it was pinned. Do you have that problem? (Can you tell, I'm a relatively new quilter.)
