The RSC13 Week 3 assignment I have set for myself is String Stars. These blocks work up quickly, and since I'm only doing two of each color, this particular project isn't making much of a dent in my PURPLE scrap bag.
They look good added to the pink stars from last month.
I have an **idea** for the final week of PURPLE but I'm not sure I'll have time to get it going ...

String stars are so cute! I just happened across your blog. Then saw the house. Wow, amazing home. I love it. Then I realized where you live. so glad you are ok, glad that man hunt is over and he is not a danger to your community any more. I feel for the people who's home was burned. I sure wouldn't want to re-build on that site. Sad. But on a happy note. Love your quilting! Lizzie

I love how these look! They ALMOST make me want to start collecting strings again. I'm saving them, but will be giving them to a friend.
