Stash report - week 52

Used this week: 3.50 yards
Used year to date: 277.75 yards
Added this week: 0.00 yards
Added year to date: 173.00 yards

Net used for 2012: 104.75  yards

Last stash report of the year!  My final numbers are satisfactory.  Fairly similar to last year, although yards purchased and yards used are both somewhat less this year.  I think that's partly due to the fact that I spent so much of my sewing time making comfort quilts in 2012, but used guild fabric to make them so I couldn't count it here.

Having tracked my numbers for two years, I'm comfortable with my fabric habits.  I can adequately store and access my stash.  I don't make random acquisition purchases, but rather buy colors/prints that I want for a particular project.  I'm staying within my fabric allowance budget.  I'm using more than I add.

And of course if I never acquired even another thread of fabric, I'd still have plenty enough here to keep me sewing for the rest of my life.

It's all good :)

Very good numbers and I would be proud of your ussage too. I'm still struggling with trying to use more, but my time limits for sewing my stash were eaten up by quilting for others. Not as much time was spent on MY UFOs and other projects. Hope your 2013 year finds you in good health and happy.

Admirable numbers, I'd say. Bonus points should be allowed for comfort quilts :)

Jeanne, you left a comment on my blog at Cat Patches. I can't respond because you are a no-reply blogger. If you'd like to change that, please email me at threecatsranch at gmail dot com and I'll tell you how. In the meantime, you'll have to email me if you'd like me to share my potato salad recipe with you.

Great numbers, tho it isn't about the numbers, but the enjoyment and creating!
