A new book

We're knee-deep in putting things back together after the carpet installation -- every single thing needed to be moved out of the rooms where they were working.  The new carpet looks wonderful, and by the end of the weekend we'll have the bedrooms back to normal.

A bright spot amidst the chaos today: a new book came in the mail.  I flipped through it quickly, and it looks like it will be a good one.  In addition to the quilts and projects, it includes lots of old letters and photos chronicling the lives of women of the era.  I'm enjoying Barbara Brackman's Sesquicentennial quilt series, and thought this book would be a nice complement to that project.

Meanwhile, I did get my green and blue UFO quilted the other day, and I'm chugging along on the binding.

Sounds like a lot of work to me. I'm glad you had a minute to look at your new book though.
