This week's block is Louisiana. Barbara Brackman chose it to represent the South, and especially the women who waited at home for their soldiers to return.
It's surprising to realize that we're already on week 12 -- the year is passing so quickly!

The pattern of this block is so delicate looking! I like the contrast of the red and green and the light fabric looks great with it too. Your quilt is growing!
