February - violet

Judy picked "violet" for February's Monochromatic Challenge.  I'm continuing to make runners for my guild's boutique sale later this year, and this little project nicely depleted my purple 1 1/2" strip bag.

I've also started assembling a purple B-a-D block set that I'd hoped might count as my "violet" completion.  The top is done, but I won't have a chance to get it layered and quilted before the end of February, so it'll come up later as a UFO finish.

Oooh! Purple is my favorite! I sure wish I could go to this guild sale, I bet there will be tons of stuff I could go for. Beautiful job.

You are doing spectacular on your quilting goals this week! I really like the violet runner.

My son is living in Truckee, CA working at a ski resort. He is loving all the snow.

It is always so fun to see what you are working on, Jeanne! I don't know which I like best: seeing those Block a Day quilts come together or the Brackman Civil War blocks. How adorable are those little basket blocks too! The runners are sure to be a hit at the guild boutique as well.

20 inches of snow---yikes but it suppose it makes the skiers happy? Good time to stay in and sew those wonderful projects you have going.

That's lovely, a great runner. A great way to use up scraps.

Wow, great way to multi-task! You met the challenge, got another runner done for your guild sale and also managed to put a dent in your scrap pile! And it's beautiful as well!
Cheers,
Dionne
