Daybook 04/24/10

I'm feeling ... content at the prospect of an unscheduled day
I'm seeing ... sunlight shining through a blue bottle on the kitchen windowsill
I'm hearing ... woodpeckers drilling at a pine tree somewhere nearby
I'm thinking ... about Nick and Dave
I'm cooking ... a roasted sweet potato for lunch
I'm planning ... my summer garden
I'm reading ... Thirteen Moons by Charles Frazier
I'm wearing ... a navy jersey and gray pants
I'm creating ... red-white-and-blue blocks for an upcoming guild swap
I'm enjoying ... watching the buds swell on the fruit trees -- they'll be blooming soon
I'm sharing ... Morning Has Broken, a quilt I made several years ago using a Jan Patek pattern

Thanks for your quilt sharing and day sharing. I enjoy when you do this, as it makes me stop and consider these things as well. :)

Wow. That quilt is so relaxing. I love that blackbird is making an appearance. The painting is also evocative of a simpler time.
