Winter Wonderland!

And here's the final snow measurement with the table on the deck ... we keep clearing a little space out there so the dogs can go out.
We got about 5 feet of new snow in the past few days, bringing this year's total up to almost 100". It is absolutely gorgeous here!! Can you see the red stop sign in the second photo? That's the street corner in front of our house.

Tony worked hard clearing the driveway -- atta boy!!!

The power is back on, and we're snug as bugs in a rug, and LOVING it here!!!!!

P.S. If you can make it up the mountain, the skiing/snowboarding is EPIC! (Their word, not mine)

It's beautiful and I'm so glad that you are
enjoying your new home. How can you
keep all that snowfall plowed , it must be
an ongoing job.

Wow, would you look at all that snow you got! We went out to the desert yesterday and were amazed at all the snow on the back side of the mountains when we were coming down the Cajon Pass. Beautiful, I haven't seen that much snow in our local mountains in years. And it's true, if you can get up there. You should have seen the line of cars going over the 138 to get to the snow, crazy! I'll pass.

know that clearing the snow must be a bit of a pain after a while, but it is stunningly beautiful! I wish I could just dive into all that snow :-D

Oh my, it sure is beautiful to see all the lovely white snow. Your house must be very sturdy to hold the weight of all that snow on the roof. It is wonderful that you are enjoying your new home and location.

Crikey. That is a lot of snow. I don't envy you clearing it off the driveway, and your poor dog is lucky you cleared a path! It is pretty to look at.

Holy cow, Jeanne! I would never have believed anyplace in CA got that much snow. I enjoy reading about your adventures here!

You're having fun in that snow, aren't you? It's gorgeous! Our mountains are white at the tippy-top but nothing like what you've got there! Enjoy!

And you have a beautiful blue sky - with the sun I am sure all that fresh snow is sparkley! When I had a l-o-n-g, steep, snowy driveway I would park at the bottom of the hill for most of the winter instead of shoveling the entire thing! Then I would have to carry the groceries and baby up the hill, LOL! Glad to hear you have your power on! Cheers! Evelyn

UNbelievable! Love the photo of Tony out there by the table.... um, I think there was a table... LOL

Love from SE Texas, where we've had 4-5 days of sunny weather and highs in the upper 70's!
