It's not very exciting, and I have no use for it whatsoever, but it's DONE, ready to be quilted up this evening, and donated to our local non-profit thrift shop.
The story behind it starts with the last two days' B-a-D blocks : the spool of thread and the sewing machine. I made those same blocks last year, and used them last January in this larger sewing-themed project which also included a decent assortment of swap blocks.
And this finishes my bundle of sewing novelties -- the remainder has been returned to general stash or laid to rest. No more sewing-themed wallhangings in the offing, ever.
This top today plus Cherry Cordial yesterday means I've freed up two UFO bags already this week!!! And so it goes ...

You certainly are on a roll...wish I had your
energy. Great Job !
great finish, it's good to have a place to use the sewing machine blocks instead of them just languishing forever
Oh, how satisfying to get those hangers-on out of the bags and on their way to a quilt! Love the sewing themed quilts, nice rescue and reworking of both.
Wow. You are accomplishing so much only 2 weeks into the New Year! 2010 will be a good one if you keep it up! I love the sewing machine quilt.
Hi, Jeanne! I am wondering what quilting method you will use this evening, Will hand quilt or machine quilt?
Thanks!
Your moving right along!!
You sure you couldn't use that in your sewing room for a wall hanging :O)... its so cute!!
well, you are certainly making me feel rather unproductive! :) well done!
Wow you have done so well! Congratulations from me... who is struggling with 'reasons'. Hugs XX
