Two new things

First up, Judy has announced a new Quilt-for-an-Hour project! Here's just a sneak peek at a corner of it, but go over and take a look: it's a beauty. More challenging than the last one she gave us, but she's going to take the steps slooowly this time, so we stragglers can keep up. I'm already thinking about colors.

Meanwhile, I've started to do some planning and cutting for a Christmas quilt.

My other 'new thing' is a new car! Tony went down the hill with his little Miata, and came back up with a new Subaru Forester, a MUCH more practical car for mountain driving and snowy weather. (4-wheel drive, bigger, etc.) So now we're all set for winter :)

My GF loves her Forester. If I were in the market, I would definately look at them... (You still need to be careful. Whenever we get snow, the news shows this kind of vehicle in various precarious situations...)

Congrats on the snappy new little car! Yes, far more practical for living up there in the snow!

My DH has a silver miata with the black top. It might be hard to give up, almost part of the family after so many years. :) But I see the new one is also red... so that's okay. I bet it's fun to drive too!
