THANKSGIVING KRISPY TREATS
10 oz. bag marshmallows (approx 3 cups)
4 tablespoons butter
3 cups rice krispy cereal
3 cups cornflakes
1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
flaked salt for topping if desired
Line a 9 x 13 pan with parchment and spray with nonstick spray.
Melt butter in a very large mixing bowl in microwave, about 30 seconds.
Add marshmallows and continue microwaving at 15 second intervals until marshmallows are melted.
Add rice krispy cereal, corn flakes, pecans and thyme to melted marshmallows and stir all together quickly to combine.
Press sticky mixture into prepared pan.
Sprinkle with flaked salt if desired.
Allow to set in refrigerator before cutting into bars to serve.
