Amazingly, we will have been in this house for four years next week! The time passes so quickly, still feeling like this is new and missing my house in the mountains. But anyway, here we are.
Yesterday we FINALLY had the front door replaced. This is a project that has been on the To Do list since Day 1. Everything still needs painting, but it's excellent -- such a soothing simplification. The old one was waaaaay too ornate and formal and bright brass for this little cottage.
