RSC25 - January: pink

This week I donated all my on-hand comfort quilts to a local fire relief effort, so today I'm newly motivated to replenish my comfort quilt supply.  Accordingly, here's my first PINK blockwork of the year for RSC 25:

Uneven 9-patch blocks using a set of Alison Glass batik fat quarters.  They are 6" x 9", and I'll see how many I accumulate -- no specific plan.

And randomly scrappy classic log cabins.  These are 12" blocks, so I'll aim for 24 total to get a nice lap-size donation quilt.
I'd say that log cabins are my favorite block -- I've produced *many* log cabin quilts through the years, and I'm always up for starting another one.

Up in LA, miles and miles of devastation and rubble, the scope is difficult to comprehend.  We're about 25 miles south of the fires.
