Possibilities ...

... but I'm not making any promises! 😉

Self Care --
* Prioritize my emotional well-being: I am of the generation which was taught to be discreet and tactful and not mention controversial or distasteful topics, but I'm not going to be polite any longer and pretend this stuff isn't happening.  It's outrageous, every single day, and I can say that as often as I want to!
* I'm trying a new wax manicure system.  I'll give it a couple of months and see if my nails are improved.
* Upping mileage on the stationary bike regularly to maintain my leg strength and help me keep walking
* Entertainment: rewatch all my old fave movies, and Escape to the Chateau and Escape DIY series
* Another round of Simple Abundance, my lodestone going back decades

Reading --
Book Girls Club
I've chosen to participate in three categories: Voyage, Decades, Regions.  Three books per month is well within my normal reading quota.  This challenge will encourage me to explore new topics and authors.

Quilting --
* Finish Starowka for April, thousands and thousands of pieces!!!
Little Blocks 2025 Sentimental Stitches -- strong possibility that I'll use fabrics from my very ample French General stash for this.  Leaning toward a rouge/saffron/vert (red/yellow/green) combo instead of the blues we'd normally expect using French General, although I have that option as well
Fableism -- soooo inspired by all their beautiful soft wovens and plaids, we'll have to see what I come up with
* Petticoat Press Brackman 2025 pieced BOM -- I'm Barbara's model maker so I actually finished this quilt a long time ago, but will share the monthly posts as usual
* Barn Star Sampler -- no colors or plan in mind yet but I love all those stars!
* RSC25 -- I'll use the challenge color of the month as my guideline for stash reduction

Cooking --
* Toying with the possibility of monthly themed menus
* Try some new bread recipes: rye, babka, Dutch Crunch, bagels, pan de cristal
* The kids are highly amused with the spritz cookies
* I'm a very good cook and sharing meals is important to my family, so I will continue full-on involvement with cooking

Embroidery --
* Finish the Stitch of the Month subscription series started last year
* Ornaments?

I love seeing what 'possibilities' you have set out. I need to sit down quietly, light a candle, have a hot cup of coffee by my side, and give serious thought to my own 'possibilities'. Thank you for the idea. :) Oh and I meant to say, I love what you did with your old January bed quilt. A wonderful 'change'.

They all look like great possibililities and there's still room for some squirrel moments too. Like yourself, and many others, I fully intend to priortize my emotional well being and will be trying very hard to avoid listening to, or reading, the news. Hard to do when DH has the tv on the living room loud enough for me to easily hear in my sewing room.

Great post and so energetic and encouraging. I have been on the downside for so long that I could use a jump start and your post made me feel like something might be sprouting inside. So many fun projects I love Babka - I need to make some again soon. (Got to eat up all the Christmas goodies first. I made too mucH.)
