THANKSGIVING BLONDIES
1 cup softened butter
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 cup pumpkin puree
1 cup pumpkin puree
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
(or substitute cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg)
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1/2 cup pecan pieces
1/2 cup white baking chips
Prepare a 9 x 13 pan with nonstick spray.
Preheat oven to 350*.
Cream together butter and brown sugar.
Add pumpkin puree, egg, and vanilla, and beat until smooth.
Mix in dry ingredients thoroughly.
Add cranberries, pecans and white chips and combine all evenly.
Spread batter into prepared pan.
Bake at 350* for 28 - 32 minutes until blondies test done.
Cool in pan on rack before cutting into bars.
About 20 bars
