Cutting and organizing: I'm getting started on the NORTH STAR STATE sew-along by Pat Speth. I'm using reds, blues, tans and whites in a 'controlled scrappy' arrangement for this one. Pat is the author of the Nickel Quilts books, and I've enjoyed using her patterns and construction methods many times in the past.
