On the Seventh Day of Christmas

Today I raise a cup of wassail in a toast to good health, both yours and mine!
So many New Year's resolutions involve healthy living, exercise, weight loss, etc.  I hope you set realistic goals for yourself in the coming year, and I hope you have success in working toward them.

My own health is acceptable right now, and I'm grateful for that, although this past year was a challenge.  I am an 18-year survivor of breast cancer, and a 6-month survivor of ovarian cancer.  I make a good effort to take care of myself.  I eat a reasonable diet, exercise regularly, and responsibly take the maintenance medications that I need to.  I don't sleep as much any more, but I guess that's all my body requires.  I have good and bad arthritis days.  I think it all pretty much balances out at the end.

Anyway, so far, so good: and at 67 years of age I've got a ways to travel yet!
