I've signed up to participate in a Row Robin challenge at Wrap A Smile.
Teams are assigned, and then we are to create a starter and send it to the next person on the list. Eventually everyone's own starters should end up back with their originators. At that point, we are to finish them into donation quilts and send them to the activity coordinator.
Since I have a lot of 1930s repro stash, I chose to use some of that for my starter.
Working with bright cute multi-colors and red as my constant, I pieced two simple 'half rows.' Later they can either be combined into one wider row or used like this in two different locations.
It'll be fun to see what starters the other participants come up with, and then challenging to add something appropriate to each one that I receive.
