Museum

Museum #2!

I actually liked this one better than the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum, although this is a much newer organization.  The museum is located in a wonderful old building, and the exhibit was 'Stitched Through Time: A History of Quiltmaking', so it was mostly antique/vintage bed quilts rather than modern art quilts.  I enjoyed an enchanting doll house up in the loft also.  Winterset IA is a charming little town, and is the location of the romantic
 Meryl Streep/Clint Eastwood movie,
"The Bridges of Madison County."

Dismayed to discover that something is wrong with my photo function.  Looks like I lost the first several days' pics.  If I can recover any of them I will add quilt photos.  This shot is from Tony's phone.  Other than the photo problem, our trip is going well.  We will be staying with SIL and BIL Fran and Brian tomorrow, in Illinois.
