So … Tony works at the fire lookout tower here in the mountains during the summer.
They have an event at the end of the season which includes an opportunity drawing. I've donated quilts to that fundraising effort in the past, and I'm ready to start on this year's donation quilt.
I've decided to use Bonnie Hunter's Scrappy Mountain Majesties pattern with these pine tree/mountain colored fabrics. I'll probably include a few lighter sky blues in the mix also. I've sewn up this pattern before, so I know it goes together quickly and smoothly. I have until October to work along on this project.
