Applesauce

This is an early morning not-great-light photo.  These are actually bright 1930s prints.

I made it over the finish line with the apple project!  These were 'aged' swap blocks, and a collection of apple novelty fabrics, and have become a decent-size top.  Although there is still quite a bit remaining of the apple-print stash, I think this will about do it for apple quilts.  I'll make a pieced back over the weekend, and then bag up the rest of the apple yardage and send it onward as donation fabric.

The elimination of apples and snowflakes this month, and earlier this year also Easter and patriotic novelty fabrics means I've been able to empty the equivalent of and remove an entire tote tub from my stash storage!  As far as other holiday novelty fabrics go, I still have two tubs full of Christmas, and a tub full of Halloween/autumn, in addition to miscellaneous Valentine, etc. yardage.  And then there are also the tubs for solids, batiks, 'moderns',  homespuns,  shirtings, vintage Thimbleberries, birds, celestials, French General, Kaffe Fassett, etc.  ...  before we even get to the real 1800s and1930s collections.  Sigh.
