I'm spending the weekend doing embroidery and embellishments on several of the blocks of
"Happy Trails", a Pearl Pereira design. This cowboy-themed Baltimore Album style quilt will be my guild's
2016 fundraiser quilt. This is cattle ranching country, so we should have plenty of interested buyers. It's a group effort, and will be spectacular when it's done -- we have some outstanding appliquers in the guild!
We've had some chilly drizzly weather, so it's been cozy to stay in and embroider, a good opportunity to link to Slow Stitching Sunday at Kathy's Quilts.

I don't do any applique, but I certainly admire the beauty of it and am in awe of the time and effort it requires. That's going to be a beautiful quilt when it's done ... one that ought to raise a fair amount of money for your guild. It's cold but sunny here ... so I'll be inside slow stitching, too.
This is going to be a beauty!
You are working on a beautiful boot/floral applique block. Looks like a lot of stitching involved.
It is stunning...you certainly are talented as are the rest of the ladies to compose quilts such as this! :)
