The school district here in Bear Valley is on a year-round schedule. August 1 is the first day of the new year, when the students are moving on to their next grade. Our house is located at a school bus stop corner, and we enjoy watching the kids board the buses while we have our morning coffee.
The season is beginning to turn from summer to fall. The sun is riding a bit lower in the sky these days.
