Toll House Pie


TOLL HOUSE PIE

2 eggs
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2  teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup softened butter
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup chopped nuts
9" unbaked deep dish pie crust

Preheat oven to 325*
In a large mixing bowl, beat eggs at high speed until foamy.
Add flour, sugar, brown sugar and salt and mix well.
Add vanilla and softened butter and combine all until smooth.
Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
Spread into pie shell.
Place pie pan on a baking sheet and bake at 325* about 55 - 60 minutes, until top is golden brown.
Cool before slicing.

Delicious served with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
