Not long ago, Mary Johnson, one of my guild's founding members, passed away after a lengthy illness. She was an inspiring artist, and a pillar of the guild, her church, and the community. In fact, the meeting hall the guild uses is located in The Mary Johnson Center at the Community Church.
Guild members and friends have been working on a special display quilt, to be exhibited in the hall in her honor. I was the 'finisher' for this project, and just completed the binding today.
It's a sweet quilt, and it is a loving tribute to
Mary's presence in our lives.
