It seems like I spend the majority of my quilting time working on comfort quilts, but in between I do manage to make little bits of progress on other projects.
Here's the comission quilt I started early in September. Blocks done for the center, and I should be moving along to border decisions later this week. I'm actually liking it better than I thought I would when I began.
*V*e*r*y* slow progress on the dresden wreaths. I'm tickled with the vintage feel that's developing with these blocks. Pretty sure this quilt won't be done for this Christmas, hehe.
And when all else fails, there's always a log cabin block. This is my go-to when I don't have time to actually think, just a quick few minutes to sew. No plan for these blocks, this is just my spare time filler. I need at least six more, but maybe more than that.
I've also been doing some advance planning for next year's Major Projects, and ordered some fabric accordingly :)

Your commission quilt is different. :) I really like it. :) And you know I'm smitten with your 'Christmas Dresdens' and I'm always ready for a log cabin. Love the colors you have in it.
What wonderful quilts to view first thing this morning! Thank you.
